Sharon Hill Wins North Carolina Toastmasters Lt Governor-Marketing Position


Local Organization Leader Elected for a Top Position in Toastmasters International Club

Sharon Hill, president of Sharon Hill International, announced today that she won the election for the North Carolina Toastmasters International Lt Governor-Marketing position. Starting July 1, Hill will be responsible for adding new and maintaining current Toastmasters International clubs in North Carolina.

Toastmasters International is a worldwide nonprofit organization that encourages and helps members become more experienced and comfortable in front of an audience. Organization members generally meet weekly, where participants learn and practice public speaking skills, such as delivering a prepared speech or demonstrating an impromptu performance.

Hill’s current position is as Toastmasters International Division D Governor, making her responsible for Toastmasters’ local clubs in Chapel Hill, Durham, and RTP. “I feel so privileged to have this leadership opportunity,” Hill said.
